The role involves vendor coordination, budgeting, producing planning and ensuring client requirements are met within deadlines without delay. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills That Make You A Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in knitted garment merchandising and sourcing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experienced with production management software.
- Strong negotiation, communication and leadership strengths.
- Ability to break down complex challenges with an analytical approach.
Extra Edge With Experience In
- Managed T&A calendars for styles and orders.
- Planned production, line loading and track of timely delivery.
- Coordinated with suppliers on price, terms and schedules.
- Worked with design, sales and marketing to meet client’s needs.
- Adapted to dynamic priorities and worked effectively under pressure.
